PROJECT DESCRIPTION

BSN is a government owned bank in Malaysia with a vision to be the preferred bank for comprehensive financial services of the Malaysian people. BSN has more than 5,100 employees, 382 branches nationwide. The overall objective for BSN’s rebranding roll out was to ensure a new retail branch bank network to support and inspire their organisation to continuously grow and enhance its ability to serve its “family” of customers, staff and owners.

Merx was appointed to perform a full flash of programme management services for the branch roll out of 37 branches throughout Malaysia, inclusive of new fit out along with branch rebranding. Working in conjunction with SL+A (Interior Designer) and Jurutera Budiman (MEP consultant), Merx ensured BSN vision for the new branch network was brought to life.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

ICAP is a leading markets operator and provider of post trade risk mitigation and information services. ICAP works across commodities, shipping, credit, FX, interest rates, futures and options amongst others.

After signing a lease for L20 & L21 of the then newly completed Tower 2 MBFC development ICAP appointed Merx as project manager to oversee the fit out works that included a robust and resilient data centre and the creation of a trading floor setup to allow smooth communications between the multiple trading departments.

The project was completed on time and under budget and accommodated all ICAPs user requirements during the course of the project.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Rio Tinto is a leading global mining and metals company represented in over 40 countries across 6 continents. With Rio Tinto’s growing presence in Asia, Merx was commissioned to project manage a “2-phase” approach to relocate 300 staff from their existing Singapore offices at Centennial Tower to Marina Bay Financial Centre.

Rio Tinto’s design principles featured flexible working and collaborative spaces and integrated technology to enhance productivity. Merx successfully delivered the Rio Tinto Singapore offices, working through a challenging procurement and construction programme to ensure design and budget requirements were met.

The new offices were designed for a Greenmark Gold Certification for energy efficiency, water efficiency, environmental protection and indoor environmental quality.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

AXA is French multinational providing global insurance, investment management and financial services. With offices in 62 countries employing over 160,000 employees, AXA client base is estimated to be over 160 million.

Merx was appointed to oversee the delivery AXA’s new corporate office space in Hong Kong which featured an open plan design, collaborative workstations and intelligent work stations, all aimed at supporting the organisations agile working strategy.

Working closely with Circa (designers) and PowerSmart (main contractor), Merx ensured that the project was delivered on time and within budget.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Delvaux is the oldest fine leather good house in the world. Established in 1829 in Belgium Delvaux has remained at the forefront of luxury leather goods for almost 2 centuries.

Delvaux appointed Merx as its Project and Cost managers to represent them to open the first Delvaux store in South East Asia in the premium Singapore shopping precinct of Orchard Road. The design of the store matches the Delvaux global standards and showcases the highest quality leather goods in the world. The project challenged the designers and contractors and was opened with a gala cocktail reception.
