PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Uomo Collezioni is a high end men’s clothing store specializing in Italian fashion and made to measure tailoring. Reflecting the quality merchandise, the design is sophisticated and stylish.

The project involved the development of the open plan shop area, niche cashier zone, a dedicated VIP room, fitting rooms, window display area with large shop-front. The fit-out utilised high end imported materials including specialist light fittings, marble, veneers and bespoke leather finishes.

Our Merx project management office took on full project management responsibilities which included cost management as well as design management to ensure delivery was on time and within budget.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Goodman Gtroup is an Australian integrated commercial and industrial property company that owns, develops and manages numerous industrial properties in Hong Kong and Asia.

 

Merx has been appointed by the client as overall project managers in the development of multiple properties ranging in size between 40,000 and 70,000 sft. By consitently delivering these complex projects on time and within budget, Merx has strengthened its relationship with Goodman as a ‘repeat customer’.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

At the time of its opening, the landmark TAG Heuer, Wisma Atria store in Orchard Road was the brand’s largest flagship store in Asia. Spanning  2 floors connected by a custom built internal staircase, the retail area was designed with the use of stainless steel, glazing, mirrors, premium dark wood and crème leather. In addition to the interior fit-out the project included a new external branded clad façade to tie in with the base building façade. 

Merx was appointed for project management responsibilities of this entire project to ensure timely rollout and to manage costs.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

BHP is a multinational mining, metals and petroleum listed company headquartered in Melbourne. With multiple office locations in Singapore, BHP needed to consolidate all properties into a 230,000 regional hub spread over 11 floors at Marina Bay Financial Centre. 

This was a landmark project for BHP Billiton, creating not only their new marketing headquarters for Asia, but also a new benchmark in technological innovation, staff and client services, sustainability and a working environment that accommodates a wide variety of business needs. Appointed as overall project managers, Merx ensured the project was delivered on time and within budget.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

QBE is Australia’s largest provider of insurance products with operations in 37 countries and employing over 15,000 employees.

 

QBE appointed Merx as overall project managers to lead the development and refurbishment works of two office locations in Hong Kong to facilitate the company’s agile working strategy. Incorporating collaborative and break out areas, the open plan concept also included a large auditorium and presentation centre.

AXA is French multinational providing global insurance, investment management and financial services. With offices in 62 countries employing over 160,000 employees, AXA client base is estimated to be over 160 million.

 

Merx was engaged by the client as project manager to lead the development works of multiple locations over 3 phases between 2016 and 2017. With the underlying theme across all projects being the transformation dynamic and people focused office space emphasising open plan, flexible and collaborative zones.

South32 are a global resources company, producing products that are used in nearly every aspect of our daily lives. South32’s purpose is to unlock potential by converting high value resources into reserves and identify new opportunities to compete for capital within their capital management framework.

Merx was appointed by South32 to run all aspects of the project and engage the designers, contractors and suppliers under Merx in a client contract management structure. Moving into the Capita Green building and setting up a new agile workplace created a successful environment for the newly formed South32 management and staff.
